Disney announced the details of the very first 'Limited Time Magic' event running from 12/30/2012 to 1/5/2013.

"First, we’re beginning the New Year at Walt Disney World Resort in Magic Kingdom Park withTomorrowland’s first ever “Bling in the New Year” dance party. For an entire week, children of all ages can celebrate the start of 2013. You’ll be able to watch live entertainment on Rockettower Plaza Stage, dance to great music and celebrate with some of your favorite Disney characters – all dressed in their New Year’s best. And if you can’t stay up until midnight, there will be a New Year’s countdown every hour leading up to midnight. The celebration begins on December 30 and runs through January 5."

Disney has also made a webpage dedicated to the “Limited time Magic” offerings. If you have a trip planned for 2013, you will want to bookmark the page and check back to see what is being offered during your travel dates.

Disney also announced that 2013 will be the “Year of the Ear” at Disney Parks. Every month, Disney Parks will release new ear hats to add to your collection as part of “Limited Time Magic.” January will start with the limited release of Disney Couture Ear Hats. Each month, there will be fun designs to discover.

The dates for Star Wars weekends 2013 have become official! Just like in years past, the dates are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the last 2 weekends in May and the first 2 weekends in June. Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano on the Clone Wars, will be the host once again.

Typhoon Lagoon closes on 1/6/2013, and along with the normal annual cleaning and refurbishment comes an enhancement to the roads at the entrance to the park. It appears that the water park will have a new dedicated right turn lane, allowing much more efficient exiting from the park. In the past exiting has caused large backlogs, so it looks like this change will make traffic flow much more efficient.

Remember, babies can only cruise after their 6-month birthday on sailings from the U.S. If you are going transatlantic, or have more than three days out at sea, they must be 12 months old by the first day of your cruise. Pre-Cruise   We flew to the cruise port, and I couldn’t bring all the food and snacks I needed, so I placed an Instacart order for pick up near the port. I chose Publix in Cocoa Beach which is a few miles from Port Canaveral. I placed the order a few days before we left home, and set the pickup time to 11:00 a.m. I ordered formula, a box of diapers, swim diapers, bottle brush, dish soap, baby food, and baby snacks. I also broug...
