Epcot has numerous dining options,
but there are three reasons why The Garden Grill is one of my family’s favorites.
Garden Grill is located inside The Land Complex inside Epcot, home to the popular ride Soarin. After taking your flight on Soarin,
make sure to hop on the "Living with the Land" boat ride and learn about the Epcot gardens
and sustainable farming. What makes The
Garden Grill unique is that you can enjoy some of the
vegetables that are grown in those very gardens, as well as sustainable
fish. These foods are served all you can
eat family-style along side turkey, beef, and kid friendly choices like
macaroni and cheese and warm rolls with maple butter. Yum!!!
The second
thing that makes this a unique dining experience is that fact that it’s a rotating
restaurant! While you eat, the restaurant
will slowly spin and bring you through the Living with the Land scenes: rainforest, farmhouse, thunderstorm, sandstorm and prairie.
The Garden
Grill does accept some dining plans and is in the $30-$60 per adult meal
range. Park admission is required. What I like about the all you can
eat family style meals is that you get kid friendly choices, but that doesn’t
limit the kids to just mac and cheese.
Having a 9 year old who can also have some fish and fresh salad is a
nice option. I like to help myself to the
macaroni too! Reservations are recommended, as this is a popular location.

Finally, to
take the cake, dinner here is Chip 'n Dale's Harvest Feast, which means
character dining!! So, while eating your
locally grown veggies and watching the ever changing scenes from Living
with the Land, you also get visits at your table by Chip and Dale and some of
their friends. My kids always love
to see Farmer Mickey and Pluto. Each
character will stop at your table, so have your camera and autograph books
ready. This is a great way to meet and greet without having to wait in lines.
