The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

I recently had the chance to tour these beautiful Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

If you are looking for the highest level of luxury just steps away from the magic, this is it! Elegant decor and beautiful theming make these Villas the perfect addition to Walt Disney World's Flagship resort. If you're a Mary Poppins fan (and who isn't?), you'll love the amazing detail that has been influenced by the classic film about our favorite nanny.

While this is a Disney Vacation Club resort, it is open to all guests and can be booked as part of a Magic Your Way package. It is one of the most popular locations on property, and rooms fill up extremely quickly.

Enjoy the pictures! Do you dream of staying here one day??

Cruising with a Baby: A Complete Guide

You took a baby on a cruise!? Yep, and I'd do it again knowing what I know now. So, say goodbye to months of research - Everything you need to know is here!! One of the biggest challenges of traveling with a baby is planning what you need to bring. I wanted to share what worked for us, and hopefully help others who are planning their cruise! Remember, babies can only cruise after their 6-month birthday on sailings from the U.S. If you are going transatlantic, or have more than three days out at sea, they must be 12 months old by the first day of your cruise. Pre-Cruise   We flew to the cruise port, and I couldn’t bring all the food and snacks I needed, so I placed an Instacart order for pick up near the port. I chose Publix in Cocoa Beach which is a few miles from Port Canaveral. I placed the order a few days before we left home, and set the pickup time to 11:00 a.m. I ordered formula, a box of diapers, swim diapers, bottle brush, dish soap, baby food, and baby snacks. I also broug...

Evening Activities Outside the Theme Parks

Not only can touring theme parks all day be exhausting, but in the off-season, the parks sometimes close earlier as well. Having a game plan for those evenings can be crucial! Here are a few of our favorite ways to spend an evening outside the theme parks. Disney Springs - Dinner or Dessert Disney Springs has really upped its food game in the last several years. You can find a wide variety here, from fine dining to quick service and even food trucks. Honestly, I’ve liked almost everything I’ve tried. This is a great option to mix it up and get a meal at a more leisurely pace since you won’t be running to the next attraction afterward. Many dining options even boast celebrity chefs, great for a foodie like me. Some of my favorites include Morimoto Asia or Paddlefish for a nice dinner (and they both have great lounge/bar areas as well!). T-Rex is also a huge hit for families with dinosaur fans, but the meteor strike can be a little loud and scary for younger kids. The Polite Pig is great...
