Agent Mary Ann's 10 Favorite Souvenirs to Collect at Walt Disney World

Every time I visit my happy place, I vow that I’m not going to buy as much as my last visit.  Then I step foot into World of Disney and any shot at having my luggage weigh under 50lbs for the flight home is out the window.  Too many cute things that I must have!!  Here’s a list of some of my, or my family’s favorite things to buy while enjoying our vacation at Walt Disney World. 10) Pins - This is not something I personally collect, but my daughter loves the whole process of collecting pins and pin trading.  I have to admit, many of the pins are very cool and it’s a great way to interact with other guests and Cast Members throughout the parks.  After each trip we buy a shadow box from Michael’s or Jo-Ann’s to make a wonderful snapshot keepsake of what was ‘hot’ during that vacation. 9) Pressed Pennies - The pressed penny machines are EVERYWHERE throughout all 4 parks and offer quite a few characters and themes to suit the taste of just about any collector.  During a visit while

"Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Review

I have been fascinated for years in Walt Disney, his early beginnings, the creation of the Disney company and how he came up with the concept of Disneyland and its various attractions.  When we were planning our trip to Disneyland and found out there was a tour that I could do that would give me some extra insight on all of that, called “Walk in Walt’s Disneyland Footsteps”, I jumped on the chance to take it. I was told to arrive 30 minutes before my tour at the Guided Tour building next to Main Street’s City Hall.  I checked in and they gave me a cool, personalized pin to wear labeled “Walk in Walt’s Disneyland Footsteps” and a menu to choose a meal that we would eat later.  I put my pin on my left shoulder, as instructed, and ordered a “Jolly Holiday “ salad, Flourless Chocolate Cake and a Coke.  A man named Phillip came out and gave each of us an earpiece to put on and told us to adjust the volume to make sure we would be able to hear him.  Then, around 10 minutes later, when ever

Agent Carissa's 10 Favorite Things About Disney Cruising

This is where the excitement begins! Welcome to my “10 favorite things about a Disney Cruise”. The thing about Top 10 lists is that you have to limit yourself to 10.  The truth is, I could fill a book with everything I love about Disney cruises!  However, I’ll assume that you all have jobs, families, and regular lives to get back to- and limit myself to 10 (maybe 11). In no particular order, here are some of my favorite parts of sailing on a Disney Cruise: The ships' horns are music to my ears 10.  Horns -  These represent the very essence of Disney Cruising and give me chills every time.  From the traditional “When you wish upon a star” on the classic Magic and Wonder, to the larger 7 song repertoire on the Dream and the Fantasy, there’s something so magical about hearing these in person.  On my most recent cruise this summer, I'm pretty sure I set a new Olympic record sprinting up 6 flights of stairs to experience the beautiful sound of all 7 songs bei
