Ears the News: October 27, 2017 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com. Reservations are now available beginning November 26, 2017 at the new Ale & Compass Restaurant in Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Opening for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the new gastro-pub inspired restaurant takes theming cues from a lighthouse. The Ale and Compass Restaurant replaces the former Captain's Grille. Here is a look at all three menus. Having Fun When Your Park Days Are Done

Hey there, Disney Fans!!!     I hope everyone is having an awesome Fall and is enjoying the heck out of a pumpkin spice something right about now! Now that we are in the "off-season" here in theme park world, (HALLELUJAH!), one of the very few negatives is that parks generally start closing earlier. So if you are visiting in off-season, what should you plan on doing to occupy your evenings? Here are five of my favorite ways to spend an evening, outside of the parks! 1. Make Dining An Event      With so many awesome restaurants on Disney property, you could easily make an evening out of enjoying your dinner reservations. In fact, there are already some meals that include entertainment, like Disney's three dinner shows,  The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue  and  Mickey's Backyard Barbecue  at Fort Wilderness, and  The Spirit of Aloha,  (known to most Guests as "The Luau"), at the Polynesian Village Resort. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Yes or No?

Hey there, Disney Guys and Gals!     Who is dreaming of a Disney Christmas???? I know I always am and I live here! If you are heading down this holiday season, or planning a trip for another year during the holiday season, you may be wondering if you should invest in tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It's undoubtedly an expensive night out, but also undeniably magical. How do you decide? Never fear! Tink is here to help!      For those of you that may not know, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special, hard ticketed event, occurring a few times per week, on designated dates. (This year's party takes place on November 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 26th and 28th, as well as December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st and 22nd.)
