Ears the News: January 26, 2018 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com . Disney has filed permits for the early-stage site preparation of the upcoming Tron coaster at the Magic Kingdom. Although we aren't likely to see the actual ride being built for some time, we should soon be seeing ground clearing and site preparation work in Tomorrowland. Disney Springs Scavenger Hunt!

Hello there, Disney Fans!      Recently, on a day that the parks were particularly flooded with people, I decided to take my kiddos down to Disney Springs to kill some time. Now, we have been there hundreds of times, and the kids love it, but they do get bored of the same old thing. In an attempt to find something unique and fun that they could do, I created a scavenger hunt for them. They had a lot of fun trying to complete it, and so I thought I'd share it here. We did it as a photo scavenger hunt, requiring that the kids take pictures at each of the locations or doing each of the tasks, that way, they had some fun souvenirs when they were done too! Ears the News: January 19, 2018 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com . Disney's Hollywood Studios debuted an all new set of background music as part of the park's redevelopment for the future. At the Main Entrance you can hear Big Band arrangements of Disney tunes. Along Hollywood Boulevard there are Big Band instrumental arrangements of popular songs from the 30’s and 40’s. Sunset Boulevard features vocal tracks from similar Big Band hits played on Hollywood Boulevard. At Echo Lake you will continue to hear Big Band sounds, pushing towards the 50’s and 60’s with bright, brassy horns and lush string arrangements. Grand Avenue plays music inspired by present-day Downtown Los Angeles, the music on the street includes retro-contemporary west coast funk sound defined by a strong bassline, electric guitars, horns and synthesizers.
