If you are anything of a Disney fashionista, you probably know all about Dapper Day and Disney Bounding, but for those of you who may not by privy yet, allow me to fill you in. Dapper Days started in 2011, by a non-Disney associated group of people, looking to celebrate Disney by putting on their Sunday best and enjoying a day in the parks. Participants often dress in vintage styles and wear outfits that pay homage to Disneyland's first days, in the 50's. There are events each spring and fall, both at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Events are open to anyone who has park admission and you can find out more about the events by clicking HERE.
Disney Bounding is another adorable Disney trend, also started by an independent Disney fan, back in 2011. Disney Bounding is a unique way to dress in every day street clothes, but in creative ways that are reminiscent of your favorite Disney characters. The trend has become hugely popular in the Disney theme parks and quite often intersects with the Dapper Day craze. Many Dapper Day attendees wear gorgeous, vintage outfits, inspired by Disney characters. I encourage you to check out some of the pictures on the Disney Bound website, by clicking HERE.
Now if you are a fan of Dapper Day or Disney Bounding (or both!), you've likely heard about the incredible Dress Shop at Cherry Tree Lane at Disney Springs already. The shop is part of the Marketplace Co-Op shopping area and it has become hugely popular with Disney fashionistas for it's dreamy vintage looking Disney dresses and accessories, inspired by and themed to Disney movies like "Mary Poppins" and "Alice in Wonderland", and even Disney attractions like Haunted Mansion and the Tiki Room. I stopped by the shop the other day, and wow, do they have some incredible garments, bags and jewelry for sale right now! Let's check it all out!
The dresses range in price from $108-$170, skirts and sweaters from $58-$78, and bags and accessories from $10-several hundred, (for the Dooney and Bourke bags, mostly). Dresses range from XS-3XL, making them open for a large variety of sizes and shapes. Several items and styles can even be purchased online, at shopdisney.com.

Until next time, Disney Fashion Lovers, have a magical week!
