Lumiere's on the Disney Magic

Lumiere's on the Disney Magic is the upscale and elegant of the bunch when it comes to Main Dining Rooms.  As you'd expect being themed off a movie based in France, the menu is French inspired and this is where you will find some of the "fancier" food to give a try!  Lumiere's is located midship on Deck Three off the main atrium.  There are two entrances, the main entrance is off the atrium and the one from the hallway around the side is accessible and often used when there is an event or activity in the atrium.  Lumiere's is often also open for other meals throughout the day, and has a more standard menu when this is the case. Main entrance from the atrium While French food can be intimidating, Disney does a great job making the menu approachable and still a bit familiar while working in some French influence and flavors.  If you are still a little weary of escargot, one of the best things about a Disney Cruise is that if you don't like something, t...

Jaleo Restaurant Review

Jaleo is one of the newest restaurants at Disney Springs and has quickly become a favorite of many.  It is a tapas-focused restaurant from Chef José Andrés and is considered Signature Dining by Disney (2 table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan).  Since this is a tapas restaurant, the Disney Dining Plan can get a little confusing for the entrees and appetizers.  On the Disney Dining Plan, each diner can get two regular tapas OR one tapa that "serves two" OR one plated dish OR one plated pallea. If you are on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, you can select one of the options above, plus an additional tapa. First let's take in the restaurant's atmosphere and decor.  The building greets you with pops of red as you approach.  Once inside, there's a nice open feeling with a lounge area to the left and the main dining area to the right.  There are some interesting tables to be found, with one having a Foosball table underneath! Restaurant exteri...
