2021 Holiday Cookie Stroll at Epcot

Do you love the holidays? How about cookies? If you answered "yes" then the Holiday Cookie Stroll at this year's Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is the perfect activity for you!

After our fun with Emile's Fromage Montage during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival earlier this year, I knew we had to participate in the Holiday Cookie Stroll. Participation in the Holiday Cookie Stroll is super easy. All you have to do is purchase five sweet cookies from select locations during the Festival and make sure to collect your matching stamp for each cookie you purchase. You'll know which menu items are part of the Holiday Cookie Stroll by looking for the cookie icon located next to each item in the Festival Passport and on the menu board outside the booth.

Let's review the 5 cookies:

1. Black and White Cookie - L'Chaim! Holiday Kitchen - Between France and Morocco

This was the first cookie we tried on the Holiday Cookie Stroll and it did not disappoint! It tasted like your classic Black and White Cookie but with much more of a lemon flavor than I'm used to. It was still very tasty but if you're not a fan of lemon/citrus, you may not enjoy this cookie. I found it delightful and would rank this cookie an 8/10.

2. Chocolate Crinkle Cookie made with DOVE Dark Chocolate - American Holiday Adventure - The American Adventure

This was one of my favorite cookies on the stroll! It was absolutely delicious and was the perfect amount of chocolate for me. I'm not sure if I could eat the whole cookie by myself (especially with eating all the other cookies on the stroll), but splitting it was great. Its a decent size cookie so you can easily share with others. In fact, most of the cookies on the stroll were shareable sizes. I'd rate this cookie a 9/10.

3. SNICKERS-Doodle Cookie made with SNICKERS bar pieces - Yukon Holiday Kitchen - Canada

I'm a big fan of Snickerdoodle cookies so I was excited to try the SNICKERS-Doodle cookie. I thought this cookie was good but it wasn't great. Don't get me wrong...it was a good cookie! I think my expectations were just set too high. Does that ever happen to you? I built it up too much in my mind and then it didn't deliver. If you like Snickerdoodle cookies and SNICKERS candy bars, give this cookie a try. I'd give it a solid 7/10.

4. Gingerbread Cookie - Holiday Hearth Desserts - Near Port of Entry

This was my least favorite cookie but in fairness, I only got to try a bite before my 2 year old ate the whole thing. So, it was a big hit with my son! From the bite I tried, I thought it was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. I asked my son if he wanted to try a bite and before I knew it, it was gone. He ate the rest and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. From the little bite I had, I'd have to rank this a 4/10 but my son may differ on that opinion.

5. Linzer Cookie - Bavaria Holiday Kitchen - Germany

I love Linzer Cookies and think they just scream Christmas so it should be no surprise that this cookie was my favorite. It was just perfect. The raspberry jam combo with the confectioner's sugar on this buttery cookie was everything I hoped it would be. I'd rank this cookie a 10/10.

The best part of the Holiday Cookie Stroll for me was that each cookie was only $2.50. That's a great deal for a Disney treat! And a lot of the cookies were very easily shared amongst our party so we never felt like we were too full to try another one.

One you've collected 5 stamps, bring your Festival Passport to Holiday Sweets & Treats for your Holiday Cookie Stroll completer treat. What do you get for completing the stroll? You get not 1, not 2 but 3 prizes! Once you turn in your completed passport you'll receive a 50th Anniversary cookie, Peppermint Sundae in a collector's cup and a Freeform Christmas ornament. So not only do you get another tasty cookie and Peppermint Sundae but you also get 2 keepsakes in the cup and Christmas ornament.

We saved the 50th Anniversary cookie to enjoy later and it was very tasty. It was also super cute! The Peppermint Sundae was delicious. It was a very simple treat of chocolate ice cream and whipped cream topped with peppermint. It was the perfect size to enjoy without feeling too stuffed.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays runs through December 30, 2021 so there's not much time left to complete the Holiday Cookie Stroll. If you're visiting Epcot soon, I highly recommend this activity.

Have you already completed the Holiday Cookie Stroll? If so, what did you think? Let us know in the comments.

Cruising with a Baby: A Complete Guide

You took a baby on a cruise!? Yep, and I'd do it again knowing what I know now. So, say goodbye to months of research - Everything you need to know is here!! One of the biggest challenges of traveling with a baby is planning what you need to bring. I wanted to share what worked for us, and hopefully help others who are planning their cruise! Remember, babies can only cruise after their 6-month birthday on sailings from the U.S. If you are going transatlantic, or have more than three days out at sea, they must be 12 months old by the first day of your cruise. Pre-Cruise   We flew to the cruise port, and I couldn’t bring all the food and snacks I needed, so I placed an Instacart order for pick up near the port. I chose Publix in Cocoa Beach which is a few miles from Port Canaveral. I placed the order a few days before we left home, and set the pickup time to 11:00 a.m. I ordered formula, a box of diapers, swim diapers, bottle brush, dish soap, baby food, and baby snacks. I also broug

Complete Guide to Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

Disney's new Bahamian island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is a pristine, secluded paradise reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests. The cruise port is located on the island of Eleuthera (pronounced uh-loo-tr-uh) at it's southern tip, amidst a nature preserve called Lighthouse Point. Far from any towns, Lookout Cay feels like a tropical oasis that is separated from the outside world by mangrove forests. The landscaping is gorgeous with flowers like plumerias, and tall swaying palm trees. Whether you want to just kick back and relax or go for a thrilling banana boat ride, this port has something for everyone. There are family friendly areas as well as those reserved specifically for adults. Expert Tip: If you want a view of the island from your stateroom, be sure to book a starboard (right) side stateroom. Disney Magic docked at Lookout Cay After disembarking your Disney Cruise ship, you'll cross the pier to the island on foot. (It looks longer in

The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel Review

I love staying at the Disneyland Hotel so when I got the opportunity to stay at the new Villas at the Disneyland Hotel during opening weekend, I couldn’t pass it up. Because it was opening weekend, we were greeted in the entrance way of the lobby with balloons and many photo opportunities. When we arrived, there was a mural of the Haunted Mansion. I love how the seats in the main lobby were designed like the teacups in the parks. You can check in using the Disneyland app, drop your bags with bell services and head into the parks or use the amenities why you wait until your room is ready. When your room is ready, the resort will send you a text and you can use the Disneyland app on your mobile device to unlock the room. We dropped off our bags and went straight to the parks. We received a text around 1PM that our room was ready. In the new Discovery Tower (the Villas), you'll find that the lobby is very spacious with many places to sit while you read or wait for your family. Th
