WDW 50th Anniversary Foodie Guide - Part 4

With so many great food specials for the 50th Anniversary, it takes multiple agents and trips to try them all.  Today I bring you the fourth installment of our foodie guide which brings maybe my favorite 50th item yet!  Disney's Hollywood Studios - Rosie's All American Café Disney’s Hollywood Studios 50th Celebration Sandwich Cookie Celebrating the 50th anniversary with a pretzel shortbread cookie sandwiched with strawberry jam and peanut butter-chocolate fudge This cookie was honestly such a delight.  The first bite is peanut-buttery and wonderful, but then you keep going.  Your next bite you get a little jam with the peanut butter cookie, wow it got even better.  Now your fully into the cookie, and your third bite has the chocolate fudge in addition to the cookie and the jam and it is just the perfect trifecta of salty and sweet.  I can't wait to have this cookie again! Citricos Lounge

Citricos has long been a staple at Disney's Grand Floridan Resort and Spa but it recently underwent a rather lengthy refurbishment which had it keeping the Citricos name but introduced touches of Mary Poppins Returns throughout the restaurant and gave everything a little refresh.  The restaurant remains a Signature Dining experience and is open for dinner service.  We of course had to check out the changes but didn't want to be tied to a reservation time so opted to try for the lounge instead which is walk-up, first come, first serve seating.  There are three small tables with cozy chairs and couches and a small bar area.   The details are beautiful from when you first walk in, the choices of fabrics on the chairs to the intricate lighting.  There is so much to see and take in.  We were lucky enough that there was an open table when we arrived so we had no wait and sat right down.  There are also lovely windows here for views of the Grand Florida...

Hollywood Brown Derby

The Hollywood Brown Derby is Disney's Hollywood Studio's Signature Dining establishment serving lunch and dinner, known for dishes such as the famous Cobb Salad and the Grapefruit Cake.  You'll be transported back to the golden age of Hollywood when you walk inside and see the walls lined with caricatures of celebrities and rich dark wood tones.   The menu here was updated as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations so we were excited to give it a try!  The meal started with some lovely rolls and butter with fancy sea salt which was delightful.  I also started the meal with what I believe was an old fashioned but can't find the cocktail list now so can't get the exact description for you, I apologize.  It was great though.   We started off our meal with some appetizers as per usual, because I just tend to really love appetizers.  However, none of them were really jumping out at us but then our server said the magic words "pork belly" when we...
