Top 5 Things to Do in Munich, Germany

Munich, Germany is a city rebuilt after war that takes pride in the cultural heritage of the region.  With so much going on since it's a big city, it can be hard to pick what to do and prioritize on your visit there.  There are palaces, a wide variety of museums, day trips and of course lots of local food and culture to experience. We've compiled this list of some of our highlights to help get you started planning your journey to this amazing place. Walking Tour I personally love to start my visit to a new city with a walking tour, it helps me get the lay of the land and see a few highlights before diving deeper into any particular area of interest. With much of the city rebuilt and restored, a walking tour will be the best way to get your bearings and understand the history behind the Old Town.  The walking tour we went on for our particular trip was great as it allowed us entry into a few places to really see some beautiful things up close, but your Kingdom Konsultant A...

Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at Magic Kingdom has become a fan favorite over the years, often having sizable lines for this small spot.  Tucked away in Liberty Square with gorgeous side views of Cinderella Castle, it is easy to miss but a treat to find.  Sleepy Hollow's menu consists of waffles, corn dogs and funnel cakes, although people typically come here for the waffles.  In the morning you can score a fruit and Nutella waffle for breakfast and later in the day you can get a spicy chicken and waffle sandwich. Because they are so busy, everything is fresh and tasty!  You can even peek the Cast Member's deep frying the goodies behind the cashier when you order.  The chicken and waffle "sandwich" is a personal favorite of mine, it's just such a nice change of pace from burgers and chicken fingers.  At time of writing it is $11.29 and a pretty filling option for the price.  On the menu it is described as "Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich: Broccoli...

Top 5 Things to do in Vienna, Austria

Vienna, Austria is a city rich with history and culture.  With so much going on, it can be hard to pick what to do and prioritize on your visit there.  There are palaces, museums, day trips and of course lots of local food and culture to experience. We've compiled this list of some of our highlights to help get you started planning your journey to this amazing place. Walking Tour With many courtyards and cobbled streets in the oldest parts of the city, a walking tour will be the best way to get your bearings and see some highlights of the Hapsburg Empire.  Most walking tours will take about two hours, and your Kingdom Konsultant Agent can help you find the best one for your needs.  There are beautiful sculptures throughout the old parts of the city, so you don't even need to go into museums to start to see beautiful art.  I personally love to start my visit to a new city with a walking tour, it helps me get the lay of the land and see a few highlights before div...

Giovanni's Table on Liberty of the Seas

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has wonderful specialty dining options on all of their ships.  They all have some variety of an Italian restaurant and I've tried Jamie's Italian on the Symphony of the Seas and now Giovanni's Table on Liberty of the Seas. The restaurant is located by the Windjammer Buffet, tucked off to one side as you enter the area.  Once inside, the atmosphere is dark and cozy, very different from the buffet hectic world outside the doors.  There is an open kitchen along the one wall and windows along the other.  The restaurant is a set upcharge, and then you can order whatever you want from the food menu that is to your liking throughout the meal.  Giovanni's is actually undergoing some changes on a lot of RCCL ships, but Liberty hadn't had those changes yet so it was still the "old" one, which was fine by us. We had an amazing meal here, and wouldn't hesitate to come back again on a future cruise.  You might see Giovanni's Kitchen...

Royal Caribbean - Taste of Sabor Experience

I recently sailed on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Liberty of the Seas for my Honeymoon.  The trip itself was quite amazing, but we had a special dinner at Sabor that wasn't on any pre-planning options.  While at dinner at the Chef's Table earlier in our cruise, a nice gentleman from Sabor came by and told us about a similar experience they were trying out at that restaurant.  Of course we decided we had to give it a try! We got the menu to look over and our host for the night came to greet us and go through what to expect etc. This was a new thing they were trying, so we didn't really know much about it going in other than "if you liked the Chef Table, come try this!" He was wonderful, and we had a great time with him. We were at a big table off to the side as you went in (our whole Chef's Table party decided to go for this, so we were old friends at this point!) The table was semi-private, but still somewhat part of the normal dining area so we could pee...

Royal Caribbean - Chef's Table

Chef's Table is a bit of a staple on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, described by the cruise line as "as VIP and intimate as it can be," it is a perfect splurge for foodies on a cruise vacation. The Chef's Table is available on select sailings for an upcharge, and is not included in any specialty dining packages.  The fee  includes the wine pairings which are premium bottles you wouldn't be able to order with a Deluxe Beverage Package either.  The Chef's Table only holds up to 8 (or 10?) diners each evening, so it is quite the exclusive affair.  On the Freedom Class ships, the Chef's Table is a special level in the Main Dining Room, but on other class ships it can be located in different places (for example, in a back room in Chop's Grille.) "Welcome to Chef’s Table, the most exclusive and elevated dining experience on our fleet. Join an intimate group of fellow foodies on a private epicurean journey led by the ship’s Chef de Cuisine. You’ll sit dow...
