Topolino's Terrace is a stunning restaurant at the top of Disney's Riviera Resort, which is most easily accessed via Disney's Skyliner.  The restaurant boasts a terrace with amazing views of the Walt Disney World Resort but is also beautiful in its own right with the attention to detail really coming through.  While it serves a wonderful character breakfast and brunch , we opted to have dinner here on this evening which is more of an upscale character-free affair.  This is a great spot for a night out where you'd feel comfortable getting a little fancy for the meal. We started our evening at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready.  The cocktails here are as delicious as they are beautiful (zero-proof as well!).  I've been here several times now and tried several drinks, and honestly haven't been disappointed with a single one.  We loved the seasonal drink so much one time we asked for the recipe and were gifted a hand-written note with it!   Since I recently had the opportunity to visit Disneyland for the first time after visiting Walt Disney World countless times (truly…I worked and lived there and have visited more times than I can count), so many people said to me, “I can’t wait to hear your comparison!” Well friends, its time, and here’s what I can tell you: They don’t compare. They are two completely different vacation destinations and while there is a natural tendency to compare one to the other and they certainly share similarities, overall, its apples and oranges. Starting with the obvious: Size . Disneyland Resort has 2 parks, 3 resorts, and a Downtown Disney area. When Disneyland opened in 1955, it was just the original park, and over time as they were able to acquire more of the surrounding land, they turned the parking lot into Disney California Adventure and built parking structures about a mile from the parks. When they announced that they would be adding a new Quick Service location to the highly anticipated Pandora in 2017, I was pretty excited. Then they previewed some menu options and I got even more excited, as it all sounded fresh, new and even on the healthy side!  In the 6 years since this establishment has opened, it has become a regular Animal Kingdom stop for me.  I feel like it really started a new wave of creative and delicious Quick Service options at Walt Disney World. Ordering stations and bright menus overhead There are two main features on the menu here, the pods and the bowls.  The bowls are a create-your-own option by mixing and matching their proteins, sauces, and bases (think the Chipotle of Pandora) while the pods are fixed cheeseburger flavor which are very popular. The Kingdom Konsultant team had the pleasure of being invited to the Disneyland Resort for agent training recently, and the first night the whole group was there, we went to Carthay Circle for dinner. The restaurant is a model of the famed Carthay Circle Theater, where Snow White debuted in 1937. The restaurant is elegant and beautiful, but not pretentious. They are used to people in theme park attire. We had trouble securing a reservation for 18, but we were able to get 3 smaller reservations and the restaurant was accommodating to seat us at tables next to each other. We had beautiful tables on the balcony overlooking Disney California Adventure and a dazzling sunset.  Some of us ordered entrees, some ordered appetizers but mostly we ordered a lot of things to share! Every table tried the Warm Cheddar Parker House Rolls, which were served with Calabrian Chili-Pine Nut Romesco Butter. Once upon a time Disney’s newest character breakfast at Walt Disney World was the “Bon Voyage” Character breakfast at Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk.   You got not only a fabulous sit down meal, but you were able to meet and interact with a couple of Disney princesses, Ariel and Rapunzel, and also their rarely-seen mates, Eric and Flynn Ryder.   All four of these Disney characters are my oldest daughter’s favorites, so she was beside herself thinking that she could finally meet all of them at once when this debuted.   I was able to get my family a reservation so we could enjoy this meal and fulfill our princess dreams. When we first arrived at Trattoria, it was packed, so that was a good sign to me that this was going to be a great experience.   Once we were finally seated, our waitress greeted us, took our drink orders and told us how the characters would come by one at a time.   It wasn’t long before we had our first visitor, Rapunzel.   She was so pleasant and very sweet,
