Rooms
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort offers Standard and Preferred Room options. Standard Rooms include views of the courtyard, pool or parking area. Preferred Rooms include the same views however, they are closer to Stadium Hall where you will find dining, shopping and transportation.
Both Standard and Preferred Rooms sleep up to 4 adults, with 1 Queen Bed and 1 Queen-Size Table Bed, and can accommodate 1 additional guest if under the age of 3 in a Pack n' Play.
The rooms have been recently refurbished with a similar style to the rooms you'll find at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort. The table bed is a great option for seating during the day and then becomes a bed when you need it.
The bathroom area offers a ton of great storage space with ample shelving. There's only one sink but it's outside the shower and toilet area so multiple people can get ready at once which is a plus.
Transportation
The only transportation option at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to all four of the Disney theme parks and Disney Springs is by bus. There is one bus stop at the resort, located outside Stadium Hall. Fair warning that there is no shade or awning where you wait for the buses.
Dining
Disney Value Resorts offer a large food court and pool bar option for dining.
End Zone Food Court
This quick-service option is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an all-star line-up of fan favorites such as Mickey waffles for breakfast, and pizza, burgers and sandwiches for lunch and dinner. End Zone Food Court is also where you can refill your Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mug with fountain drinks, coffee or tea. There is ample indoor seating available, with TVs showcasing popular Disney sports themed cartoons and sporting events. There's also some outdoor seating options if you are so inclined to dine outdoors.
Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar
If you're looking for some alcoholic beverages, Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar offers specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, draft beer, sangria and wine. The bar is located just steps away from the Surfboard Bay Pool and right outside the End Zone Food Court.
Recreation
Recreation at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is plentiful! Hang 10 in the Surfboard Bay Pool, located right outside Stadium Hall, with giant-sized surfboards lining the pool area or enjoy a swim at the Grand Slam Pool, shaped like a baseball diamond. There's also a small, kiddie pool located near the Surfboard Bay Pool for little ones.
The resort also has Movies Under the Stars, a jogging trail, playground and Game Point Arcade.
Our Two Cents
If you're looking for a budget friendly resort option on Disney property, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a great option, especially for those guests who plan to spend a lot of time in the theme parks. The rooms are cute and comfortable for a family with small children. Little kids will love running on the football field and taking a dip in the Surfboard Bay Pool. A couple downsides to the resort are the limited dining options with only one quick-service restaurant and only having bus transportation as an option to the theme parks.
