On the last day of our Disneyland vacation, my family and I wanted to have breakfast with the characters. We didn’t reserve it 60 days before, but we looked for reservations that morning, and found one for Storyteller’s Cafe located at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. If you don’t have hotel reservations, you can still park at the hotel with a dining reservation. They will check your name at the security booth.
Upon arrival, we checked in with the cast member and waited for our names to be called. The wait didn't take long at all. We got there just in time for breakfast and our experience was enjoyable. They had a yogurt parfait bar, choice of pastries and cereals, a charcuterie platter and smoked salmon bar. For the hot selections, they had oatmeal, an omelet station, bacon, sausage, chili verde chilaquiles (these were delicious) and of course, Mickey waffles. They also had eggs benedict, carved meats, and some delicious french toast. I had a little bit of everything but I especially liked the chili verde chilaquiles and the blueberry muffins.
Storyteller’s Café is more than just a place to eat; it’s a celebration of Disney’s ability to craft unforgettable stories, not just through their films, but through every facet of their resorts and dining experiences.
