What is Epic Universe?
Epic Universe is Universal’s most ambitious expansion yet, adding an entirely new theme park to the Orlando lineup. This isn’t just another park—it’s a full-fledged universe with innovative lands, cutting-edge attractions, and immersive experiences that will transport guests to different worlds like never before. Think bigger, bolder, and more breathtaking than anything Universal has done before!
The 5 Lands of Epic Universe
1. Celestial Park (The Hub of Epic Universe)
Rides:
- Stardust Racers – A thrilling dual-track coaster that takes you on an interstellar race through the cosmos.
- Constellation Carousel – A beautifully designed celestial-themed carousel perfect for all ages, which has cool technology! It will be a different experience every time you ride

- Atlantic – A high-end seafood restaurant with a space-inspired twist. (Reservations needed)
- The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant – Offering delicious Asian cuisine in an elegant setting. (Reservations needed)

Test your skills and timing in challenges around Super Nintendo World with a Power-Up Band. You can collect digital keys each time you do a challenge. Gather enough keys and you can open the Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown. Your band also tracks your progress on the Mario Kart ride along with your friends and family!
- Toadstool Cafe – A whimsical restaurant serving Mushroom Kingdom-inspired meals.
A brand-new take on the beloved Harry Potter franchise, blending the magic of 1920's Paris from Fantastic Beasts with the classic Ministry of Magic.

Grand Helios Room Types:
- Standard Rooms come with either two queen-sized beds for five guests (with a rollaway bed) or one king-sized bed that can fit up to three guests (with a rollaway bed).
- Pool View Rooms come with two queen-sized bed that can fit up to five guests (with a rollaway bed) and offer beautiful views of the Helios' resort-style pool.
- Skyline View Rooms come with two queen-sized beds that can fit up to five guests (with a rollaway bed) and are on the highest floors with stunning city views.
- Theme Park View Rooms come with either two queen-sized beds that can fit up to five guests (with a rollaway bed) or one king-sized bed that can fit up to three guests (with a rollaway bed) and offer epic views of Universal Epic Universe just outside your window.
- Deluxe Rooms come with two queen-sized beds and a common area featuring a small sleeper sofa in a 415 square-foot room that can fit up to five guests and are also available with a jaw-dropping theme park view.
- Club Rooms come with two queen-sized beds, spectacular theme park views, access to the hotel's 1,345 square-foot lounge located on the ninth floor, evening turndown service and cotton signature bathrobes, complimentary coffee, assorted teas and soft drinks throughout the day and continental breakfast and a snack served daily.

There are 11 resorts among the 4 theme parks so you can ask your Kingdom Konsultant Agent which one is best for your vacation. It all depends on what parks you're visiting and what amenities are important to you.
Ticket Information for Epic Universe
1. Multi-Day Tickets: These tickets provide access to multiple Universal Orlando theme parks over a specified number of days. For example, 4-day ticket allows entry to the original 3 parks: Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay + one day at the new Epic Universe. One day at Epic will likely NOT be enough. So, you can add another single day on just for Epic.👇
2. Single-Day Tickets: For guests with limited time, single-day tickets to Epic Universe are available now for visits starting June 1st. These tickets will provide access to the new park for one day and are perfect for a second day to explore Epic, those eager to explore specific attractions, locals, or those visiting from a Disney World Vacation or pre- and post- cruise visits. (We love to book land and sea vacations!)
3. Annual Passes: Universal Orlando offers annual passes that grant year-round access to its theme parks, including Epic Universe. These passes come with additional benefits such as discounts on dining, merchandise, and special events. For current Annual Passholders, single-day tickets to Epic Universe are available.
4. Bundled Packages: BEST OPTION! Universal Orlando also provides vacation packages that combine hotel accommodations with park tickets. Guests can choose to stay at one of Universal's on-site hotels, such as the luxury Universal Helios Grand Hotel located within Epic Universe's Celestial Park, and enjoy bundled ticket options that include multi-day park access to Isalnds, Studios and Volcano Bay, and other perks. Universal has several fabulous on site resorts that we highly recommend, such as Sapphire Falls, Royal Pacific and Hard Rock Hotel. You can add addition 1 day tickets to Epic Universe, so you can experience all it has!
Express Passes & Park Hoppers– Will They Work at Epic Universe?
- Universal has not confirmed whether Express Passes will be available for Epic Universe rides, but if they do offer it, it will be a game-changer for skipping long lines. Stay tuned on our social media pages for announcements and updates.
- Park-to-park tickets are a great option if you want to visit multiple Universal parks in one day, but they are not available yet to be used at Epic. We anticipate they will be in the future.
- When you book multi-day tickets with the Park-to-Park option you can still hop between Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and Volcano Bay Water Park at this time.
Expert Tips for Your Visit to Epic Universe
📆 1. Book Your Trip Early
With a brand-new park on the horizon, demand is high! Helios Grand Hotel only has 500 rooms. We are currently booking the 3 new hotels, tickets, and Universal packages including Epic, so don't miss out, book your fall and winter 2025 vacations now! We are booking up until December 10th.
💪 2. Get Early Entry
Staying at one of Universal’s hotels will grant you early access to the parks - a HUGE advantage!
🏨 3. Stay On-Site for the Best Experience
Universal’s new resorts are incredible! Helios is designed to offer seamless access to the park. If you want to maximize your time on your Epic day (it's a gigantic park!), staying in an Epic Universe resort could be the way to go. If you are visiting the other 2 theme parks, staying at Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel, or Portofino Bay will get you the complimentary Express Pass Unlimited!
💻4. Get Ready for Next-Level Tech
New wands, new ride technologies, the best animatronics in an attraction, EVER (Monsters Unchained has 14!) New augmented reality experiences, and much more!
💥 5. Plan for Long Wait Times
With an all-new park, expect high crowds in the first few months (or even year). Consider visiting on weekdays. Universal will have capacity limits for crowds as well. Take advantage of Early Entry by staying at a Universal Hotel. Helios Grand Hotel is located at the entrance to Epic Universe!
🍰 6. Indulge in the New Dining Options
Epic Universe will introduce completely unique dining experiences in each land, and at the Helios. Check out some of these amazing Dining Options with Photos!
🚌 7. Try the New Transportation
Epic Universe will be separate from Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, so there will be dedicated shuttle transportation between the park, and a dedicated road to avoid traffic from all of the resorts. Helio and Stella Nova are in walking distance to Epic.
💫 8. Be Prepared for Interactive Experiences
Universal is known for incorporating interactive elements into their parks. Whether it’s the wands in the Wizarding World or Power-Up Bands in Super Nintendo World, be ready to engage with the lands beyond just the rides. There will be new entertainment, performers, musicians, Monster makeup demos, guest makeup and cosplay experiences, and even Dragons roaming around the Isle of Berk.
💜9. Choose Your Priorities
Pick the world that you are most interested in to explore first, work you way down the list of priorities. For example, if you're not too interested in Dark Universe, save it for last. Don't forget to take in the small details in the lands, the queues, and even throughout Celestial Park. We highly recommend 2 days in Epic to be able to see it all.
💁10. Be Prepared!
Pack your patience, and your snacks! Expect holiday-level crowds. Have a plan of attack - but be flexible. Choose your meals ahead of time by browsing the menus. Download the Universal app and familiarize yourself with it. Link a valid, unexpiring credit card before you arrive. Mobile order all your food on the app. Study the park maps. Purchase and link your Mario Power-Up Bands ahead of time (which also have apps). Stay hydrated and carry on!
