Top 10 Must Do's at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom park was the last of the four Florida parks to open in 1998 and offers, by far, the most unique park experience.  Although it may not have as many attractions as the other parks, Animal Kingdom's 500 acres are jam packed with exquisite details and theming!  The park is currently home to 7 lands: The Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa, Asia, DinoLand, U.S.A., Rafiki's Planet Watch and Pandora - The World of Avatar. While visiting Animal Kingdom, you can encounter exotic animals from all over the world and learn a little something while you do!  The park is dedicated to conservation and is committed to animal care, education and research.  There are plenty of things to see and do while visiting the Animal Kingdom but here are my top ten Must Do's that aren't to be missed! 10. DINOSAUR Head over to DinoLand U.S.A. for a prehistoric journey through the Cretaceous period on DINOSAUR.  I really enjoy this attraction, especially the humorous pre-sh

Local Vendors We Recommend in Orlando

The hottest trend in the ultimate Disney vacation is utilizing local vendors who are/or used to be Disney Cast Members to enhance your trip.  There are a wide variety of services and products you can get from these wonderful people, so we wanted to highlight a few of our favorites that we have personally utilized and would recommend. Charcuterie: Ordering a charcuterie board for your family or party is a great way to enhance an arrival day when you might be a bit snacky or maybe for a pool day at the resort.  It's the perfect snack to munch on throughout the day and makes you feel just a little bit fancy.   Journey Across the Board This is the charcuterie you order to feel bougie and pampered and really elevate your trip.  Their boards are premium and they can be designed and personalized in so many ways. You can even upgrade to include beautiful keepsakes.  What makes them especially great is the ability to suit so many dietary concerns.  They create any food style or allergy from

Universal Orlando Resort: More Than Just Thrills!

I have discovered over the years that many people think Universal Orlando Resort theme parks are just for guests who love thrill rides.   While it is true these parks have some amazing thrill rides (I’m looking at you, Velocicoaster!), there are plenty of rides to please anyone in your party that prefer more tame attractions. Recently I took my own family down to experience everything Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure have to offer.   My son is just venturing into the world of roller coasters, but still has some growing to do.   My daughter is still a bit cautious when it comes to rides.   They both declared that they LOVE Universal Orlando Resort and can’t wait to return!   In no particular order, here are our favorite non-coaster rides that are sure to please everyone in your group.  Despicable Me Minion Mayhem :   In this awesome simulator ride you get turned into a minion! Margo, Edith, and Agnes oversee your minion training, but things get a little out of ha

Agent Favorites: Jenn's Top 3 Resorts To Visit

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Well hello there, Disney Friends! I hope you all are doing well and have had a healthy dose of magic recently. If not, you've come to the right place! Let's talk about resorts and how you can have amazing experiences at them... with out even staying in one! Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts  Take it from this local... Resorts are an awesome place to spend some down time. In fact, my Littles and I probably spend more time on property at the various resorts than we do in the parks! There's always cool activities to check out, quiet spots or rowdy games, gorgeous vistas and never, EVER a shortage of incredible people-watching. (Trust this nosy Mamma. You can learn an awful lot about that family from California as they are hanging in the lobby, waiting for their room to be cleaned!) Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Resorts are open to everyone, regardless of whether or not you are staying on Disney p
