Our family recently embarked on a cruise to Bermuda on the luxurious Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from nursing school. With a group of 6, we opted not to book any excursions as we had a two day stop in Bermuda and planned to explore the island on our own. Upon arriving in Bermuda, we made our way to the Visitors Center in the dockyard to purchase transportation passes. These passes allowed us to utilize the ferry and buses throughout Bermuda. We acquired a two-day pass for $31.50 per person, with a discounted rate of $16.00 for children aged 5-16. Meanwhile, my daughter and fiancĂ© decided to rent a scooter from one of the many rental shops in the dockyard. Renting a scooter in Bermuda is an adventure in itself, as they test your driving skills before you hit the road. They also provide helmets for both the driver and passenger for safety measures.
