There are certain milestones in a person's life that everyone looks forward to; when you're old enough to drive a car, when you graduate from high school or college and when you're tall enough to ride Space Mountain. I know I can't be the only person who counts being tall enough to ride Space Mountain as a major milestone!  Walt Disney World is a vacation destination the whole family will enjoy but there are some attractions that aren't meant for little ones. These attractions have specific height requirements for guests, meaning they must be the specified height in order to experience the attraction. We all know that Florida is known for its sunshine. During the warmer months, it is a good idea to take a break from the heat throughout the day. Luckily, there are plenty of interesting ways throughout the parks for you to keep cool for a few minutes. Here are some specific attractions to look for to take a break from the heat in each of the four theme parks.  When you are at the Magic Kingdom  there are several great shows to enjoy for a break from the heat and a break for your feet! You can visit Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room or the Carousel of Progress and enjoy Disney classic entertainment.  For a 3D show with all your favorite characters, drop by Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Are you more of a jokester? Maybe the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is right up your alley; you may become the center of attention! It's a right of passage to finally be tall enough to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.  Walt Disney designed Disneyland as a place for the whole family to have fun together but that doesn't mean that there aren't a few attractions that are meant for older (or taller) guests. Nearly twenty years after teaming up to bring “La Nouba” to the stage, the two entertainment companies are working together on a new collaboration.  Photo courtesy of  WDWMagic.com . This original show will be created by Cirque du Soleil and will pay homage to Disney’s rich history of animation, with a vivid story told in a way that only Cirque du Soleil can deliver. As travel agents, we often get asked, “is my child too young for Disney?”  I am here to say that there is no such thing!  I used to think that, but I am pretty sure that had more to do with me being selfish and wanting to ride the rides I like without slowing down for my children.  As we know, not all rides are created for tiny Mouseketeers, and I wanted the thrills.  I simply didn’t want to stop for “kiddie” rides. After I took a leap of faith and took my wee ones, I found that going to Disney with younger children completely changes the experience- in a good way!  Yes, we did slow down, but that only made me take notice of details and attractions I missed before and really come to appreciate them.  Slower rides and attractions can be super magical when you sit back, relax, and see them through the eyes of your child. Disclaimer: There is nothing scientific about this list and I didn’t ask anyone else for their opinions.  :) Walt Disney World has so many wonderful attractions throughout its four theme parks.  Trying to narrow down my top ten favorites was no easy task!  My favorites list runs the spectrum from 3D attractions and classics to roller coasters and firework spectaculars. Now, without further ado, my top 10 favorite attractions: 10. Captain EO – I love this totally, awesomely, cheesy 80's 3D attraction!  I love watching the pre-show and seeing all of the hairstyles and outfits.  Then you have all of the amazing choreographed routines and Michael Jackson songs.  I know it’s not supposed to be a comedy show but I find myself laughing at the 80's cheese-factor!. When I visit Walt Disney World, I have a lengthy list of things to check off my list before I leave.  On every trip I must eat a Dole Whip, visit the Polynesian beaches, purchase a new mug, eat a turkey leg, take a trip on the monorail…it’s a comprehensive, sometimes ridiculous list but I love it! Beginning September 18 2014, the Magic Kingdom's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train now offers both video and photos of riders. Similar to the recent Tower of Terror onboard video, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train creates a series of video clips, including point-of-view footage, and scenes of the riders on the drops. MyMagic+ MagicBands are used to automatically associate the photos and videos to the rider's My Disney Experience account, making the whole process a seamless experience. The service is available now to guests who have purchased the Memory Maker package, and are wearing a MagicBand at the time of riding. Do you overlook the Carousel of Progress? Let me tell you why you shouldn't. It is easy to get lost in thrilling rides like Big Thunder Railroad or Space Mountain while visiting the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World; but if you can take a quick break from all of the flashier attractions, tucked in the back of Tomorrowland is a gem that has been a part of the Magic Kingdom since 1975. The Carousel of Progress has been my favorite “ride” since my age was in single digits. Back then, General Electric sponsored it and I always called it the GE House of Electric. As the ride demonstrates, technology is constantly changing and a quick Google search can confirm this terminology was mine and mine alone.   Regardless of its name, the Carousel of Progress has always been a mandatory stop of mine on any trip to Walt Disney World, and it should be on your trips as well.   This attraction was first introduced to the masses at the 1964 World’s Fair.   From what I have h
