Sailing the Disney Wish with a Toddler

The Disney Wish is a fantastic ship with plenty of activities for all ages, including toddlers. Here are some tips to make the most of your cruise with your little one: Before You Go Pack Smart : Bring essentials like diapers, wipes, and your child’s favorite snacks. Don’t forget swim diapers for the splash pads. Please note all snacks must be sealed in original packaging and fruit is not allowed to be brought onboard the ship. Our favorites are That's It Bars, Animal Crackers, and un-opened, commercially-packed applesauce pouches. Stroller : A lightweight, foldable stroller is handy for navigating the ship and ports of call. The smaller the better here, our Bugaboo Butterfly fits in the overhead compartments on airplanes, but couldn't get past the bed in the stateroom so we kept it folded in the closet while not out and about. Onboard Tips Nursery Services : Take advantage of the “It’s a Small World Nursery” for babysitting services. You can enjoy some adult time while your to

DCL - Rotational Dining Basics on the Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line sets itself apart from the competition with their unique "rotational dining" set up. What exactly is rotational dining? I'm glad you asked! Rotational dining is DCL's way to make sure that all guests get to enjoy each of the three themed dining venues on board. Each night of your cruise itinerary your party, tablemates and service team will rotate to one of the three main dining rooms. This gives guests a chance to try multiple restaurants on board while having the same wait staff. Guests will receive their restaurant schedule and table number upon arrival at the cruise terminal through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Each evening, you'll be assigned one of the three restaurants but you'll stay at the same table number each night which makes it easy to remember where you're sitting! You'll also have the same tablemates and servers so you'll start to get familiar with everyone. It's not unheard for guests to build some r

1923 on the Disney Wish

Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 celebrates the legendary animation studio that was founded in Southern California. 1923 is a vintage Disney fan's dream as its filled with over one thousand drawings and props from classic Disney animated films. The restaurant is split into two dining rooms, fittingly named Walt and Roy, after the two brothers behind the world's oldest-running animation studio.  Since the Walt Disney Company was founded in California, the menu at 1923 is inspired by the best cuisine found throughout the Golden State. 1923 features a diverse menu showcasing the region's unique blend of Asian, European and South American influences.  For our cruise on the Disney Wish, we were seated in the Walt Disney side of the restaurant.  The meal started with bread service of fig and olive bread with honey butter dip. I love a good honey butter! Bread Service Fig and Olive Bread with Honey Butter Dip For appetizers, we ordered the Burrata Mozza

Worlds of Marvel on the Disney Wish

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans assemble! Worlds of Marvel is one of three rotational dining restaurants on the Disney Wish. The menu includes dishes from around the globe, inspired by your favorite Marvel characters and iconic locations. Worlds of Marvel is not just a dining experience. It's also a showcase of revolutionary quantum technology with an interactive show filled with fun surprises and appearances from some of the Avengers. During your visit to Worlds of Marvel, Ant-Man and The Wasp share a special presentation of some of the most powerful technologies in the Marvel Universe. The show is presented on video screens located throughout the restaurant so every table has a great view of the show. If you're familiar with other Disney Cruise Line ships, think Animator's Palate when you think of this restaurant's setup. In addition to the presentation, there's also a hands-on demonstration of the Quantum Core. Quantum Core at each table This is where guests get t
