Chronos Club Review at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

I recently stayed at the Chronos Club at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I've been a fan of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort since my first visit as it reminds me of my hometown, San Antonio. I've stayed in rooms ranging from preferred, Casita Suite, Tower King, and now Club Level access. The Chronos Club is located on the 15th floor of the Gran Destino Tower and can only be accessed with a key card or MagicBand to a corresponding Club Level reservation. I've previously stayed Club Level at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and Disney's Grand Californian Resort. These are all considered Deluxe Resorts. Something that makes the Chronos Club stand out is that it is located in what Disney considers a Moderate Resort. I was really excited to check out the difference in experience, since there can be a notable difference in price tag for Moderate vs. Deluxe Res...

Toledo Review - A Tale of Two Tapas

I have dined at Toledo twice. Shortly after Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs opened in 2019, I ate there with my mom, and most recently with my fellow agent Maci during our visit for Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary. Located on the 16th floor, the atmosphere at this dinner only restaurant is just lovely. Floor to ceiling windows with tasteful décor offer lots of light. You will get a view of all the parks, but some are certainly better than others depending on which area of the restaurant you dine in. Even if you aren’t facing the windows, the ambiance of the orange and pink stain glass on the ceiling and greenery from the trees in the restaurant are a welcome sight. Toledo is self described as serving Tapas, Steak, and Seafood. I ended up only ordering tapas and drinks both times I dined here. On my first visit, my mom and I weren’t too hungry and on my most recent visit, they were unable to serve us the special 50th Anniversary dish because it was technically the day...

Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

In summer of 2019, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort completed its reimagining with the grand opening of Gran Destino Tower.  Now that things have had some time to settle down there, we decided to give it a try to see if it was worth the stay now that the shiny and new has worn off.  Coronado Springs is a Moderate Resort at Walt Disney World that celebrates the unique blend of Spanish, Mexican and Southwest American cultures.  Gran Destino Tower is a beautiful towering addition that brings new rooms, suites and dining establishments to the resort. When you walk into the tower you are greeted by a stunning two-story lobby with gorgeous lights and details all around.  This is now the main check-in area for the entire resort. The rooms here are elegant, modern and upscale.  We found the room to be a great size for the two adults we had staying here, and found the set up to be comfortable for both work and relaxation.   On the 16th floor you can find Toledo - Ta...
