Wilderness Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort Review

In the heart of Walt Disney World, you'll find Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Although the resort is a quick 10-minute boat ride to the Magic Kingdom, you'll feel far removed from the bustling crowds while nestled on 750 acres of lush pine trees. The resort evokes the timeless beauty of the American frontier and is filled with scenic woodland trails, wildlife, and unique recreation.  Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort has two sections; the Campsites and the Cabins. If you're looking to connect with the great outdoors but still enjoy all the conveniences of home, a Wilderness Cabin might be the perfect choice for your next Walt Disney World vacation!  My family and I recently stayed in a Wilderness Cabin and we were really pleased with our experience. The cabins are filled with rustic charm and tons of wonderful wilderness touches. My favorites were some of the light fixtures in the bedroom and kitchen area.  Beary cute light fixtures above the kitche...

Resort Hopping - Magic Kingdom Resorts

Do you ever want a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks but still want to be doing something  and feeling Disney along the way?  Resort hopping is one of my favorite ways to spend the time outside of the parks and get a change of scenery and try some new things.  There are 4 (maybe 5) resorts in the Magic Kingdom area that are super easy to get to and each have something unique to offer.  Here are some ideas of things you can do at each resort, whether you want to spend a few minutes to a whole day.  I highly recommend the atmosphere at all of the resorts which is free to enjoy, but most of the recommended activities do come with a small cost associated (grab a snack, drink etc). Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa The Grand Floridian is the flagship resort of Walt Disney World.  It is full of elegance and has much to offer, even has its very own wedding pavilion.  You can arrive here via walking path from the Magic Kingdo...

Holiday Fun OUTSIDE of the Parks

Happy Start to the Holiday Season, Disney Fans!!!      As you've probably heard, holiday events have already begun at both Disney's Hollywood Studios and The Magic Kingdom. (Parade filming has been taking place this week and The Studios kicked off their new event, Flurry of Fun.) It's an exciting time of year, and most of November and early December are awesome times to get to enjoy the holiday festivities without the crowds that descend upon the parks over Thanksgiving and Christmas.       But, if you are not lucky enough to be able to enjoy the parks during the slower times of the season, never fear... If you're not a crowd person, or even if the crowds don't necessarily bother you, but you don't have park admission, you don't need to miss out on the holiday fun. There are plenty of things you can do outside of the parks to keep the holiday spirit alive, so let's talk about some of my favorite ones, so you can start planning! Hit Up Disne...
