A Day at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival seems to get bigger and bigger each year.  This can be quite intimidating!  Today's blog is to show you that you can get a great taste for the festival in just one day in Epcot and still enjoy other aspects of the park as well.  It will be extremely challenging to try every single booth  in one day, so we highly recommend grabbing a Festival Guide when you get to the park and looking over the menus.  See what sounds good to you, and plan to hit those booths and not just the first ones you see.  Lines will build throughout the day for the food booths, so consider that when you make your plans.  Full disclosure, we didn't even get to the park until about 3pm and we aren't big on rides.  But we had a leisurely day and had a ton of fun!  It was a perfect Florida day with blue skies and fluffy clouds.   We were lucky enough to get a Virtual Queue for Guardians of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, so...

Review of 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - Part Two

Welcome back to another review of the 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival food and beverage offerings! If you read Ashley's original review , you know that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicked off on July 15th and ends on November 20th so there's still about a month left of this wonderful time of Epcot fun.  For those who haven't visited the Festival before, each year the Festival includes Global Marketplaces where you can taste your way around the world, live entertainment and fun activities the whole family can enjoy. I tend to focus on the Global Marketplaces, because food is life :)  I spent two days in Epcot this month and was able to sample quite a bit!  Here's what I tried and my thoughts on it all. Appleseed Orchard Location: Canada Theater The first major pro of this booth is that it is indoors - enjoy a break from the elements!  The food options are very limited here but the beer and cider options are plentiful.  The ap...

Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival 2020

Things at Disney World are a little different this year, as is much of the rest of the world.  However, Epcot found a way to make sure guests were still able to enjoy a Taste of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.  While this event is a bit smaller than in years past, it actually makes it much more manageable in my opinion! There's enough booths to keep it interesting, but not so many that you wind up overwhelmed with choices. September 1st was the "official" first day of the Food and Wine Festival, merchandise was released, Flower and Garden merchandise was discounted, and we were excited to kick it all off. However, some booths weren't actually open on this day.  Some were listed as "coming this fall" and some we saw open on Friday.  We were told that a few booths were only open on weekends, but not sure how that's going to evolve over the course of the festival. One of...
