The holiday season is an extra magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. One special event only available during the holiday season is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Celebrate the season with a special Christmastime fireworks show, parade, stage shows, dance parties, treats and more! This special event takes place on select nights from early November until a few days before Christmas.  Know Before You Go In 2024, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party took place on 25 select nights from November 8th through December 20, 2024, and ticket prices varied by date. Prices ranged from $169-$219 per guest ages 10 and up and $159-$209 for guests ages 3-9, excluding tax.  It's very important to know before arriving at the Magic Kingdom that this is a separately ticketed event which means that your general admission ticket does not include admission to this party. Hi there, Disney Fans!        Tink here, reporting from a freshly-holiday-decoration-coated Walt Disney World! The weather is FINALLY cooling down a bit in O-Town and it's starting to feel more like the holiday season is approaching. In fact, over at The Magic Kingdom, the very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party kicked off this past Monday! I'm hoping to get the chance to go to a party again this year. My bestie and I hit up one last year and we had SO much fun! Now, Disney does several of these special parties and events, but is this Christmas-themed one worth it?       Let's start with the basics... Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties!  These are separate ticket events, after hours in the Magic Kingdom. Both feature special entertainment, including a holiday themed version of Wishes, holiday parade, dance parties, special characters, and other offerings throughout the park.  The Halloween parties are "not-so-scary" fun, great for all ages. Most guests dress up in costume, from kids to adults! There's also free trick-or-treating at many stations all over the park- so bring a big bag and load up on candy! For the Christmas parties, the magic of Disney makes it snow on Main Street USA! There are also  complimentary  (and delicious!) cookies and hot cocoa all throughout the park.
