Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at  WDWMagic.com Photo courtesy of www.WDWMagic.com   The high-tech greeting card company Lovepop is coming to Disney Springs this fall Located in the Marketplace Co-Op, Lovepop will offer its intricate 3D paper sculpture greeting cards. Lovepop founders Wombi Rose and John Wise became best friends at Webb Institute training to become naval architects. After school, the duo traveled to Vietnam where they discovered incredible hand-crafted paper cards. Rose and Wise launched Lovepop out of the Harvard Innovation Lab in late 2014. Since then, they were named to the 2015 Techstars class, nominated for 50 on Fire by BostInno, and appeared on season 7 of "Shark Tank," where Kevin "Mr. Wonderful" O'Leary became an investor. Beginning February 5, 2018, guests staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort can request Minnie Vans to take them anywhere on Disney property. Disney has filed permits for the early-stage site preparation of the upcoming Tron coaster at the Magic Kingdom. Although we aren't likely to see the actual ride being built for some time, we should soon be seeing ground clearing and site preparation work in Tomorrowland. Walt Disney World Resort hotels may soon add basic first aid services to the list of guest amenities. Beginning next week, Disney's All Star Music Resort will start a 3 month pilot program with a registered nurse offering first aid. Mobile Order has begun at Columbia Harbor House which completes the roll-out of the service at Magic Kingdom. Mobil Ordering has also begun to roll out at Epcot. Electric Umbrella is currently online and Liberty inn will follow on August 7, 2017. Tables in Wonderland can now take advantage of the recently announced 30% discount for Annual Passholders and DVC Members at select resort restaurants. An important difference with the Tables in Wonderland discount vs the Passholder discount is that it also applies to alcoholic beverages.
