Carnival Cruise Line ships offer many free activities for guests to enjoy during their vacation, especially on sea days. While cruising with my family, I check the app for fun, free activities we can do to stay busy together. Here are some fun and free activities that we enjoy when cruising on Carnival: 1. Mini-golf Available on all Carnival ships! We especially enjoy it at night! It can get windy up there, so go after main dining time while the ship is still moving slowly. The ship typically decreases speed during dinner time. Another great time to get in a game is right when you get onboard and the ship is still docked. 2. Get competitive Check out which table games your ship offers. We have found giant chess, giant shuffleboard, foosball, and pool on the outdoor decks. I knew our first Disney Cruise would be awesome, but didn't expect to be so  impressed with every aspect of the cruise. From the magnificent cuisine, to the Broadway-style shows, to the amazing customer service, Disney is truly unbeatable when it comes to family cruising. On a ship as large as Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas, there is no shortage of things to do.  In fact, you likely won't be able to do it all in one trip!  One of our favorite ways to take a break from the hustle and bustle of some of the busier activities on the ship is to do a beverage tasting class.  We did Wines Around the World and had a great time!  This activity does come with a fee and should be scheduled in advance. The class was held in a small section of the main dining room, so it was really nice to get to see the area without the crowds of dinnertime.  The tables were set with wine glasses, information and snacks.  We had several agents and guests doing this experience together, and we were able to sit at one large table all together.  We were guided through the wine tasting and had a great time learning and tasting new varieties of wine!   Wine varieties can vary by ship and region, so you can repeat this experience on several cruises and get a different exp

If you've ever brought up a Disney Cruise to those who aren't in the know, I bet you've heard the all too familiar phrase "Aren't there kids everywhere?!" So today I wanted to share with you my top five reasons why I love Disney Cruising WITHOUT kids!  I've personally taken three Disney Cruises and have my fourth one coming up, but none of these trips include kiddos.  People look at me like I'm a bit nuts when I tell them this, since they equate the cruise line with fun loving children everywhere.  (Don't get me wrong, DCL is absolutely fantastic for kids too!)
