First or Second Dining on Your Disney Cruise?

When it comes to dinner, the seating time that you should select for your Disney Cruise is the one that works best for your family. Let's look at the pros and cons of both early and late dining and hopefully that will help you decide! Your show time in the main theater will be based on your dinner seating, so the schedule will work like this: First dinner seating starts at 5:45pm, and goes to the theater for their show at 8:30pm. Second seating will go to their show first, and have dinner at 8:15p.m. Many families with small children find the  second seating to be too late for little ones  to be eating, and they end up selecting the first seating. Getting the Most Out of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

If you have ever done  any  research about a trip to Walt Disney World in the Fall, I am sure that you have heard of a little something called  "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party."  What is MNSSHP, you ask? Well, it is a special, hard ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom, occurring a couple of times per week, on designated dates starting in late August running through the end of October.  Commonly, these dates fall on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays with Thursdays getting added in October.  There are occasionally some Mondays as well and of course Halloween night!  The party admission is NOT included on a regular Magic Kingdom ticket. Wristbands are given out to clearly identify paying party guests. Party tickets r...

Hey, Elsa... the cold may not bother YOU, but it bothers US! Go back to Arendelle!       Well, it's a new year, so let's talk about staying healthy at Disney. Seriously. Ok, ok... I know I blog a lot about high calorie, sugary, salty or deep fried concoctions that you can snack on in the parks. Disney is, after all, a magical world. A world full of fun, adventure, entertainment, and yes, FOOD. And even though the Cast Members make jokes about it, the calories DO, in fact, count on vacation. The good news is, Guests walk a LOT at Disney, and that should help combat some of those indulgent desserts and savory sauces. But if you're more of the healthy eating type, OR if you have some New Year's resolutions that you're trying to stick to, a trip to Disn...
