How many people will be joining you on the cruise?   If you are traveling with 3 to 4 guests, you won't have any trouble finding a stateroom that fits your needs.  You can choose from Inside Staterooms all the way up to the suites and have plenty of room for your family.  If you are traveling with a larger party, it may seem like there are less options but there are many options for you as well!  The largest stateroom on the Magic and Wonder sleeps up to 7 and the largest stateroom on the Dream and Fa

Packing List for your Walt Disney World Vacation

Packing for your Walt Disney World vacation can be an overwhelming experience. We've put together a packing list to help reduce stress as you prepare to travel to the Most Magical Place on Earth. The list includes basic items like extra socks and comfortable shoes, to some of those items you may not think you need but will be happy you packed! The purpose of this list is to provide you with an idea of items to pack and is certainly not intended to be a comprehensive list of everything you must pack for your Walt Disney World vacation. Don't feel the need to pack everything listed here but simply use it as a guide when you begin packing. Essential Items Backpack/Park Bag -  Unless you're a Disney "passenger princess" on your vacations, you'll most likely need to bring some items into the theme parks for your travel party. If you are going to bring a backpack or park bag, make sure it's a small bag as smaller bags are easier to bring on attractions and you

6 Tips for Touring the Parks Successfully with an Infant

Many families find themselves in the position of bringing an infant to Disneyland or Walt Disney World; however, it can be challenging to manage this new family landscape. Why do some families have more fun? Preparation is the answer. Here are a 6 tips to get you off on the right foot for visiting the parks with your smallest travel companions. 1. Minimize the Diaper Bag Just as travelers over-pack, parents seem to carry everything but the kitchen sink in a diaper bag. I promise – you will not need half a pack of diapers for a morning in the parks. Resist the urge to overstuff or bring a huge diaper bag. If you get selected for security screening, the more stuff you have, the longer it will take. Only carry the average number of diapers and a small pack of wipes that you will need for the amount of time you will spend in the parks – you can always restock when you come back to the resort for a break. If bottle feeding, pack only the bottles you need and formula in travel con

Makahiki Character Breakfast at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

We had the pleasure of dining at Aulani's Makahiki breakfast and it was a delightful, delicious experience! Makahiki is a restaurant at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai'i. The Aulani Resort is recognizably Disney as soon as you pull into the property. Its well-manicured gardens, water features, and stunning lobby look like a Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World.  As off-site guests to Aulani, (we stayed in Waikiki, but that's another blog) I have some helpful tips for visiting the resort, whether it be for the restaurants, the beach, or both! Makahiki – The Bounty of the Islands is open daily and reservations can be made 30 days in advance. I made my reservation on the Aulani website. There were a few times to choose from. I chose the earliest available that day, which was 8:30 a.m., because we had jetlag from the trip. A friendly Cast Member called me a few days before the reservation to confirm it with me. You can, however, find earlier times on other d

Disney World Parent Hack - Baby Care Centers

Disney World's Baby Care Centers have all the essentials covered when visiting the park with your little one! If you need a quiet place or run out of something, don't stress! The Baby Care Center will most likely have it.  When I visited the Magic Kingdom location I found changing tables, bottle warmers, filtered water, a private bathroom, a nursing room, and a cozy feeding area with highchairs. If you need to escape the crowds or the Florida heat with your baby - pop into one and look around. It's a nice place to take a break. Magic Kingdom's Baby Care Center is adorably themed as Alice in Wonderland. It is tucked between Casey’s Corner and The Crystal Palace Restaurant. It might not be as big as EPCOT or Animal Kingdom's baby spots, but let me tell you, it's an amazing resource while traveling with babies and young children.  Baby Care Centers can be found all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. They're like a little oasis for parents with tiny tots
