Universal Orlando Resort has branded itself as the more grown-up vacation destination in central Florida. With advertising campaigns like "kids grow up, so do vacations" and "grow bolder", it should be no surprise that there are many attractions at the Universal Theme Parks with height requirements.  If you're visiting the Universal Orlando Theme Parks with little ones, it's very important to familiarize yourself with the ride height requirements so you know which attractions your little ones can, and can't ride, based on their height. Tips for Universal Orlando While Pregnant

The Universal Orlando Resort in Florida is known for having some amazing thrill rides and immersive experiences, so you might think taking a babymoon there was a bit crazy of me.  However, it was the perfect blend of fun and relaxation for me and I felt like I could still do quite a bit even with most of the rides being off limits for expecting mothers.  A small disclaimer: we went during Mardi Gras which I feel like added a lot of extra entertainment that I could participate in.   We went in with the mindset that we would take it slow and take a lot of breaks and not over-tax ourselves in the parks, but I was surprised at how long we went that first day!  The shows provided sitting breaks and we took a little break at Finnegan's to get some A/C and beverages that helped extend the stamina for the day if you don't feel like going all the way back to the hotel. First up, the shows .  Universal, especially Universal Studios Florida, has a ton of high quality shows worth seeing.

Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is bursting with amenities that could honestly make it the perfect spot for a stay-cation all on its own, but you are also just minutes away from the Universal Orlando Resort theme parks! Universal Resorts are split into four main categories, and this one is classified as a Prime Value hotel, but you get so much bang for your buck here. The retro theme is fun and bright giving major mid-century vibes.  It is fun for kids but sophisticated enough for adults as well.   Let's start with the rooms.  I adore that you can get family suites here that are affordable and give you a bit of extra space and kitchenette area.  Honestly, just myself and my husband stayed in this larger room and it was wonderful to have the separation to get some work done without disturbing him while he slept in. We also made use of the mini fridge and microwave to have breakfasts in our room throughout the weekend, saving time and money! The variety of rooms includes sta
