The Magic of the Holidays at Walt Disney World

With summer winding down and kids back in school, my mind is already on the next big thing: Holidays! If you have a trip planned to Walt Disney World this Christmas season, you are either at or quickly approaching the double digit dance of your countdown.   The holidays are a wonderful time of year to visit- just when you thought it couldn't get any more magical, it starts snowing on Main Street. Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue... Review!

 Howdy y’all! I’m here to tell you about the knee slappin, foot stompin, hootin hollerin good time found at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. If you’re looking for some great food and entertainment the entire family can enjoy, you definitely want to check this out on your next visit to Walt Disney World!     Located inside Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, this is the perfect setting for good old fashioned country entertainment. When you enter, the first things you notice are the large vaudeville stage and wagon wheel chandeliers hanging from the cavernous wooden rafters. The tables are decked out in red tablecloths, with tin plates and checkered napkins (which you don’t want to lose- you’ll need them later in the show!). Enjoying Disney with Dietary Restrictions

Having someone in your family with dietary restrictions or food allergies can make it very difficult to travel and eat out at restaurants.   Thankfully, this is not the case at any of the numerous Disney Destinations! The first step towards a successful and food safe vacation is to make sure that your agent is aware of the special dietary requests so that they can annotate it on your reservation.   Once this simple step is accomplished, you can rest easy knowing that Disney will go out of their way to make sure that you have an enjoyable and delicious vacation just like everyone else in your group.    How do they do this?   At most table-service restaurants, the server will verify the dietary requirement when you are seated.   After that, the Chef will come to your table to discuss the various options available based on the restriction.   The restaurants try their best to have numerous options available for your specific need. ...
