As many of you already know, Disney goes above and beyond other theme parks when it comes to accommodating guests with disabilities. The Disability Access Service card, or DAS card for short, has been a great tool for families that might not be able to wait in line for an extended period of time for various medical reasons. In the past, guests would go to Guest Relations upon entering the park, request the bright green DAS card, and Guest Relations would take a photo of the guest for the front of the card. Disney is now making this system electronic, to blend seamlessly with the MyMagic+ technology already being used throughout the parks and resorts. Find Guest Relations on www.waltdisneyworld.com or the MDE app The procedures for acquiring and using the Disability Access Service has not changed, but instead of carrying around a paper card, it will all be set up on the ticket media that the guest used to enter the park; either a Magicband or plastic ticket.
