Space 220 Restaurant is an out of this world dining experience and that pun was totally intended! Located in the World Discovery area of EPCOT, Space 220 Restaurant serves modern American cuisine with a prix-fixe, 2 course meal at lunch and a prix-fixe, 3-course meal at dinner. While you enjoy your meal, you'll also enjoy amazing views of Earth from 220 miles above, aboard the Centauri space station. The host stand for the restaurant is a little hidden as its tucked away in the Mission: SPACE Pavilion. Head to the right of the pavilion and you'll see a small sign for Space 220 located up the ramp. Once you check-in, you'll enter the restaurant lobby where you'll be given a boarding pass to take the space elevator to the restaurant. One of the biggest questions I get as a Disney travel planner is "what time of year should we visit Walt Disney World?" I give clients my suggestion on the four best times to visit Walt Disney World, and I've visited during each of these times. I've also visited outside of these dates and I've concluded that these times of the year have more benefits than other times. If you're going to spend the money, time and effort to plan the perfect vacation, it's worth it to go during one of these times. 1. Late January - If you don't like the Florida heat, this is the perfect time to go. Also, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is happening during this time. Universal's Great Movie Escape opened at Universal CityWalk in late 2022.  It is easy to miss, but a treat to find!  While the main draw here are the two highly themed and immersive escape rooms, anyone can pop in for a beverage and check out the memorabilia. I loved the vibes inside! If you want to do the escape activities, you have a choice between Back to the Future: OUTATIME and Jurassic World: Escape.  Ticket prices vary based on time of day and if you choose a private experience. The bar serves up specialty cocktails themed to the two escape rooms.  It was a Sunday afternoon so we went for a drink with an espresso pick me up, the Silent Era, and a mocktail, the Hoverboard Highball.  This is one of the few places we found at Universal Orlando Resort that has actual mocktails on the menu, so that was a super fun treat, but if you prefer the punch, they can add the liquor as well!
