eet by Maneet Chauhan recently opened at the Disney Springs Marketplace and is the only Indian-inspired restaurant at Disney Springs. Maneet joins the ranks of celebrity chefs with restaurants at Disney Springs, and you may recognize her from various Food Network shows, including being the only two-time Tournament of Champions winner.  This quick-service establishment offers traditional flavor with modern flair and has shareables such as eet Bread Service with Pimento Whipped Paneer and entrees ranging from naan bread pizzas, salads and build your own bowls, and kids meals and dessert offerings. 6 Tips for Touring the Parks Successfully with an Infant

Many families find themselves in the position of bringing an infant to Disneyland or Walt Disney World; however, it can be challenging to manage this new family landscape. Why do some families have more fun? Preparation is the answer. Here are a 6 tips to get you off on the right foot for visiting the parks with your smallest travel companions. 1. Minimize the Diaper Bag Just as travelers over-pack, parents seem to carry everything but the kitchen sink in a diaper bag. I promise – you will not need half a pack of diapers for a morning in the parks. Resist the urge to overstuff or bring a huge diaper bag. If you get selected for security screening, the more stuff you have, the longer it will take. Only carry the average number of diapers and a small pack of wipes that you will need for the amount of time you will spend in the parks – you can always restock when you come back to the resort for a break. If bottle feeding, pack only the bottles you need and formula in travel con

Top 10 Must Do's at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom park was the last of the four Florida parks to open in 1998 and offers, by far, the most unique park experience.  Although it may not have as many attractions as the other parks, Animal Kingdom's 500 acres are jam packed with exquisite details and theming!  The park is currently home to 7 lands: The Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa, Asia, DinoLand, U.S.A., Rafiki's Planet Watch and Pandora - The World of Avatar. While visiting Animal Kingdom, you can encounter exotic animals from all over the world and learn a little something while you do!  The park is dedicated to conservation and is committed to animal care, education and research.  There are plenty of things to see and do while visiting the Animal Kingdom but here are my top ten Must Do's that aren't to be missed! 10. DINOSAUR Head over to DinoLand U.S.A. for a prehistoric journey through the Cretaceous period on DINOSAUR.  I really enjoy this attraction, especially the humorous pre-sh

Makahiki Character Breakfast at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

We had the pleasure of dining at Aulani's Makahiki breakfast and it was a delightful, delicious experience! Makahiki is a restaurant at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai'i. The Aulani Resort is recognizably Disney as soon as you pull into the property. Its well-manicured gardens, water features, and stunning lobby look like a Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World.  As off-site guests to Aulani, (we stayed in Waikiki, but that's another blog) I have some helpful tips for visiting the resort, whether it be for the restaurants, the beach, or both! Makahiki – The Bounty of the Islands is open daily and reservations can be made 30 days in advance. I made my reservation on the Aulani website. There were a few times to choose from. I chose the earliest available that day, which was 8:30 a.m., because we had jetlag from the trip. A friendly Cast Member called me a few days before the reservation to confirm it with me. You can, however, find earlier times on other d

Disney World Parent Hack - Baby Care Centers

Disney World's Baby Care Centers have all the essentials covered when visiting the park with your little one! If you need a quiet place or run out of something, don't stress! The Baby Care Center will most likely have it.  When I visited the Magic Kingdom location I found changing tables, bottle warmers, filtered water, a private bathroom, a nursing room, and a cozy feeding area with highchairs. If you need to escape the crowds or the Florida heat with your baby - pop into one and look around. It's a nice place to take a break. Magic Kingdom's Baby Care Center is adorably themed as Alice in Wonderland. It is tucked between Casey’s Corner and The Crystal Palace Restaurant. It might not be as big as EPCOT or Animal Kingdom's baby spots, but let me tell you, it's an amazing resource while traveling with babies and young children.  Baby Care Centers can be found all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. They're like a little oasis for parents with tiny tots
