Ports of Call: Princess Cays in the Bahamas

Princess Cays is a private island stop located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Owned by Princess Cruises, this 40-acre beach port is a popular stop for cruises from Princess, Carnival, and Holland America ships.  Princess Cays is a tender port, meaning passengers are ferried from the cruise ship to the island in smaller boats, and it takes 20 minutes each way. The Sea Breeze Grill, operated by cruise line staff, serves typical beach barbecue food. The menu included hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, fish, ribs,  various sides, fruit, and cookies. This complimentary BBQ lunch buffet is provided by the cruise line, but it's only available during a set time.  What to Do Here: Beach Day : Enjoy a beach day on the island's white-sand shores.  Soft sand and clear water on Princess Cays Snorkel : Bring your own gear for free snorkeling. The waters around Princess Cays have lots of marine life, including stingrays, flounder, trumpet fish, conch, and other tropical fish.

Exploring Epcot’s World Showcase: Must-Try Foods

EPCOT is known for its festivals, which are fantastic, but they can sometimes overshadow the year-round culinary delights found in the World Showcase Pavilions. Here are some of our favorite non-festival food items that you can enjoy throughout the year. Mexico Choza de Margarita has become my go-to spot in the Mexico Pavilion. Tucked away outside the iconic pyramid, this gem offers a variety of margaritas, including rotating seasonal options, and delicious snacks like empanadas. It’s a great value compared to the Mexico-inspired festival booths. Norway The Norway Pavilion has gained popularity with the addition of Frozen, but it’s also home to  Kringla Bakeri og Kafe , a long-time favorite of mine. The school bread, a sweet cardamom bun filled with vanilla custard and topped with coconut, is a must-try. I also recommend the lefse, a soft flatbread rolled with cinnamon, sugar, and butter. China To avoid getting too full while exploring, I like to grab a refreshing tea from  The Joy of
